v3.14 October 2026

Your own workspace address

  • Your team has its own address. Your workspace now lives at its own address, like yourteam.skovrum.com. Sign in from skovrum.com and it takes you there, and remembers your workspace next time. Old links and bookmarks still work.
  • Easier on every screen. Clearer sign-in, a header that fits small phones, better keyboard and screen-reader support, and a plain message when a link points to something that has been removed.
  • Fixes & polish. Steady reliability and quality-of-life improvements across classes, learners and reports.
v3.9 October 2026

Survey emails

  • Surveys land in learners’ inboxes. Turn on survey emails for a class and every learner with an email address on file gets the session’s survey a few minutes before it ends. You pick the survey, the timing and an optional note.
  • One link for everyone. The email carries the same survey link you copy from the session, so you can still put it in the chat or show the QR code.
  • You stay in control. Skip a single session, or email a link yourself with one tap. Learners marked absent are left out, nobody gets the same link twice, and learners can unsubscribe.
v3.8 October 2026

Easier to read, easier to use

  • Clearer text everywhere. Warnings, due dates, statuses and hints are easier to read in both light and dark mode, including on the coloured chips and avatars.
  • Works better with a keyboard and screen reader. Every field is labelled, there’s a skip-to-content link, and live mode announces the current topic and timer.
  • Friendlier messages. If something was removed on another device, or you no longer have access to it, the app says so plainly.
v3.7 October 2026

Peer observation

  • Observe a colleague. Sitting in on someone’s session? Tap Observe and fill in a short form — what went well, suggestions, a follow-up, and the facilitation scorecard.
  • Ask for an observation. From your development profile, ask a colleague to sit in on one of your sessions. They see the request on Today, in the bell and in their daily email.
  • Coaches share it. Every observation goes to your coaches first. They read it, share it with you when it’s ready, and can tailor the form to your team.
v3.6 October 2026

See each learner’s progress in one place

  • A fuller timeline. A learner’s Timeline now shows competency ratings, catch-ups, follow-ups opened and done, certificates, finished learning paths and renewals coming due — each one opens what it’s about. Filter by kind or by class.
  • Before-and-after self-assessment. From a class’s Surveys tab, share a Pre link the week before day one and a Post link after the last day. Learners rate their confidence on each competency; you see the change per learner and on their Confidence card, beside your own ratings. It never counts toward feedback scores.
  • Import scores from LearnUpon. Drop in a CSV export, match the columns and courses once, preview, and the scores land as ordinary certification attempts — duplicates skipped, anyone it can’t place set aside for you to pick.
v3.5 October 2026

Audit log, erase, sign out everywhere, backups

  • See who changed what. Admins get an Audit tab under Manage: role and user changes, deleted classes, merged and erased learner records, catalog edits and backups, each with who did it and when. Filter it, page back a year, or download it as a spreadsheet. It never records a learner’s name.
  • Erase a learner when they ask. For a request to delete someone’s personal data, “Erase…” on their page shows exactly what will go, then removes it everywhere, for everyone. Mentions of their full name in notes become “@Former learner”.
  • Sign out everywhere else. Left yourself signed in on a shared computer? Account settings now ends every other session while you stay signed in. Admins can sign any user out of every device, and the Users list shows when each person last signed in.
  • Backups you can restore. An administrator can download a full, encrypted backup of the whole workspace — locked with a passphrase only they know — and restore it into a new, empty workspace, with progress and a resume button if the connection drops.
v3.4 October 2026

Live mode for the whole room

  • Put the agenda on the projector. In live mode, press P (or Present) to open a second window for the big screen: the topic you’re on with its clock and objectives, what’s next, what’s done and any break timer. It follows along as you teach and never shows a learner’s name.
  • Made for an iPad. On a tablet, live mode gets bigger buttons, a side-by-side agenda and roster in landscape, and Start, Done, Skip, Cold call and Timer always in reach in portrait. The keyboard no longer covers the parking lot.
  • Easier to read. Lighter greys are now dark enough to read comfortably, purple text is brighter in dark mode, and every field shows clearly where you’re typing.
  • Clearer when there’s nothing to show. Empty pages now say whether nothing exists yet or your filters are hiding it, with the next step one tap away.
v3.2 October 2026

A calmer page for taking notes

  • Your notes come first. What carried over from last session, today’s plan and the parking lot now sit in one row of chips above your notes, each with a count. Tap one to open it; anything with nothing in it stays out of the way.
  • The right thing at the right time. Before class, anything left over from last time opens on its own. During class, the topic you’re on rides along so you can tick it off. Afterwards, the plan shows what didn’t get covered.
  • A tidier header. One row: pick the day, the class and which notes you’re writing (day, class-wide or a note topic), with Go live beside them. Wrap up, survey links, private notes and shortcuts tuck behind one tools icon that opens as you point at it.
v3.1 October 2026

Live mode that keeps up when the plan changes

  • Change the plan mid-topic. Running long on a good discussion, or cutting a topic short? Adjust its planned minutes on the spot and the rest of the session’s timing follows.
  • Fix the clock. Forgot to press Start, or don’t want a tangent to count? Add or take off minutes, or reset the topic’s clock, without stopping it.
  • A countdown for anything. Breakout rooms, a ten-minute break, a quick activity: start a timer in one tap (or press T), with a gentle chime and a clear signal when time is up.
  • Add a topic on the fly. When a question turns into a real discussion, add it to today’s agenda and time it like any other topic.
v3.0 October 2026

Live mode: a screen for the hour you’re teaching

  • Go live. One click on a session (or press L) turns it into a full-screen teaching view with large type that works on a laptop at the front of the room or a phone in your hand. The screen stays awake while you teach.
  • Keep the agenda on time. Each topic gets a timer against its planned minutes, with a clear signal when it runs over and how long the session has left. Mark a topic done and the time it actually took is saved, so you can plan the next class better. The clock picks up where it left off after a reload.
  • Cold call, fairly. Pick a learner at random, weighted toward the quieter ones, and never someone who is absent or was just called.
  • Everything in reach. Mark attendance, tap engagement, rate learners 1–5, park questions and jot a quick note without leaving the view. “Since last session” and each learner’s missed topics are one tap away, and keyboard shortcuts cover the rest.
2.x10 releases · August 2026 – October 2026
v2.12 October 2026

Handoff packets and completion certificates

  • Hand a learner on, ready to go. Print a one-page packet for whoever coaches them next: strengths and gaps from their competency ratings, attendance, certifications and renewal dates, learning paths, open follow-ups and topics to catch up, plus a short AI-drafted handoff note. Private notes never appear.
  • Packets for the whole class. When a class ends, print a packet for everyone on the roster in one go, or pick a learner from the Export screen.
  • Certificates worth framing. Issue a certificate when a learner passes a certification, finishes a course, or completes a learning path. Each has its own number, so a reprint is identical, and managers can revoke one if needed.
  • A nudge when a path is done. The bell tells a learner’s trainer when they finish a learning path, so their certificate goes out on time.
v2.11 October 2026

Every edit, on the record

  • See what changed. Notes and observations that have been edited show an “Edited” link. Open it to see every version, who changed it and when, with added and removed words highlighted.
  • Put a version back. Restore any earlier version in one click. The version you replace stays in the history, so nothing is lost.
  • Private stays private. The history of a private note, and any version written while it was private, is visible only to its author.
v2.10 October 2026

Competencies that fit your training, and a way to see progress

  • Your own competencies. Managers can add, rename, recolour and retire competencies under Manage → Data, for every class, one class type, or a single course. Your existing observations keep their competency and colour.
  • Rate it, 1 to 5. When an observation is about a competency, add a quick rating, from the learner’s profile or straight from a session note.
  • See the trend. Each learner’s profile shows how their ratings move over time, competency by competency.
  • In your reports. The class report now sums up observations and average ratings by competency.
v2.9 October 2026

Questions that find their answers

  • Answers where you teach. Each topic in a session and on a class’s curriculum shows the questions the team has already answered about it, with answers from the same course first.
  • Already asked? As you type a question, the app suggests answered ones that sound the same, so you can share an answer instead of waiting for one.
  • Capture a question anywhere. The note composer and quick capture can now save a question straight to the class’s parking lot, or to the team board from anywhere else. @mention teammates and learners in questions and answers.
  • Questions in your morning email. The daily digest tells you when someone answers your question, and flags open team questions on topics you teach this week.
  • How fast the team answers. Analytics shows the typical time to answer and how often answers make it back to the class.
v2.8 October 2026

See what each learner missed, and catch them up

  • Missed topics on every profile. When a learner is absent, excused or leaves early, their profile lists the topics covered that day, with a link to the day’s notes.
  • Plan the catch-up in one click. Turn everything they still need into a single follow-up for the next session, then mark each topic covered as you go.
  • Right where you teach. The session roster and the class attendance log show who has topics to catch up, so nobody slips through.
v2.7 October 2026

Renewals you won’t miss, and a digest that flags who needs you

  • Renewals coming up. Certifications with a renewal period now show when each learner’s runs out. Today lists the most urgent, and the new Renewals view on Learners shows everything due or expired in the next 30, 60 or 90 days.
  • A nudge at the right time. The bell lets you know when a renewal is 60, 30 and 7 days out and when it lapses. Renewing in a later class replaces the old date automatically.
  • Learners needing attention, in your morning email. The daily digest now tells you the day a learner in your class slips on attendance, ratings or certifications, with a weekly reminder on Mondays for anyone still behind.
  • Renewals in the digest, too. Each certification threshold shows up once, so the email stays short.
v2.6 October 2026

Pick up where the last session left off

  • Since last session. Each session now opens with what the one before it left behind: open follow-ups, learners to check in with, topics you didn’t get to, and answers still to share with the class. Carry a follow-up or a topic to today in one click.
  • Notes for next session. Leave a few lines in the wrap-up for whoever teaches next. Every trainer on the class sees them at the top of that session.
  • The names people go by. Record a learner’s preferred name and pronouns. Rosters, search and @mentions use the preferred name, with the full name alongside.
  • Who they report to, and what to know. Add a learner’s manager for after training, plus private context for your team. Private context stays in the app and is never exported.
v2.5 October 2026

A parking lot for learner questions, and a board for the whole team

  • Park a question mid-session. When a learner asks something you can’t answer on the spot, jot it in the new Parking lot on the session screen. It stays with the class, under its new Questions tab, until you come back to it.
  • Ask the team. One click sends a question to the new Questions board, where any trainer or supervisor can answer — supervisors included, even though their accounts are otherwise read-only.
  • Close the loop with the class. Mark the best answer, then mark it shared once the class has heard it. The session wrap-up reminds you about any answers still waiting to be passed on.
  • Answered once, found again. Search the board by question or answer, tag a question with its topic, and get notified when someone answers yours or accepts your answer.
v2.1 August 2026

Classes that run in another timezone

  • Say which clock a class runs on. A class can now record its own timezone. Times are still entered and shown exactly as you type them — nine o’clock stays nine o’clock — but Skovrum now knows whose nine o’clock it is.
  • Calendar invitations land at the right moment. Subscribe to your calendar feed from anywhere and a class in Manila or Dublin shows at its correct local time on your device, instead of being read as Eastern. Daylight saving is handled for both ends, including the two awkward hours in spring and autumn.
  • Times say where they are. A class outside your organization’s usual timezone carries its zone beside the time, in the app and in the daily digest, so a nine o’clock start is never quietly the wrong nine o’clock.
  • The digest knows what “today” means for each class. A class on the other side of the world is on a different calendar day from the one you are reading on, and the morning briefing now accounts for that instead of listing the wrong day’s sessions.
  • Nothing moved. Every existing class keeps the timezone it was always delivered in, and its calendar entries land at exactly the same moment as before.
v2.0 August 2026

Learning paths

  • A route through several classes, not just one. A learning path is an ordered set of steps — take this course, pass that certification, then take the next one. Build one under Learning Paths and assign it to a learner, a few learners, or a whole class roster at once.
  • Progress fills itself in. Nobody ticks anything off. A course step completes when the learner was in a class delivering that course and the class has finished; a certification step completes when they have passed it. Sitting in a class that is still running counts as in progress, and someone who left part way through does not get credit for finishing.
  • It counts what already happened. Assign a path today and classes people took months ago are credited straight away, as long as those classes are linked to a course. Nobody starts from zero because the path was written after they did the work.
  • Finishing is permanent. Once someone completes a path, that stands — tidying up a course link later, or editing the path, never quietly un-graduates anyone. Where the two disagree, the record is kept and the current picture is shown alongside it.
  • On the learner too. A learner’s profile shows each path they are on, step by step, with what completed it and when.
1.x13 releases · July 2026 – August 2026
v1.14 August 2026

The course you teach, and the times you have taught it

  • Save a course once, run it as often as you like. A course holds how a class is set up — its type, client, length, times, how often it repeats, its certifications and its curriculum. Starting a class from one fills all of that in, leaving you the dates and the roster. Courses live under Manage, beside certifications.
  • Every run of the same course, together at last. The twelfth monthly run of a course used to be unrelated to the other eleven. Now each class says which course it delivers, so they can be looked at as one thing rather than twelve.
  • Bring your history with you. Open a course and pick the classes that already ran it — archived ones included, since those are usually the point. It is a straight choice you can change later: unpick a class and it is no longer counted under that course.
  • Turn a class you already built into a course. Save as course on any class captures its setup for future runs and links that class to it, so nothing needs rebuilding from scratch.
  • Nothing was grouped behind your back. No existing class was assigned to a course automatically — two classes with similar names may well be different things, and a wrong grouping is the kind that stays invisible. Linking is always yours to make.
v1.13 August 2026

Certifications that mean the same thing everywhere

  • One shared list. Certifications now live in a catalog under Manage instead of being retyped per class, so two classes teaching the same thing are finally the same thing — and can be reported on together. Your existing certifications were matched up by name and linked automatically, archived classes included.
  • Each one sets its own passing score. A practical assessment that passes at 70 and a compliance exam that needs 100 are no longer both judged at 90. Everything follows: the roster ticks, reports, exports, analytics and the score entry screen.
  • Renewal dates, worked out for you. Give a certification a renewal period and every learner who passed it shows when theirs lapses. Nothing is stored, so changing the period updates everyone at once — and a lapsed certification still reads as passed, because they did pass it.
  • Nothing changed for what you have already recorded. Every certification carried over at the 90% it was always judged at, so no past result moved. If you do change a passing score later, you are told first how many recorded attempts it will re-check.
v1.12 August 2026

Where a class actually happens

  • In person, virtual, or hybrid. A class can now say how it runs, not just where it is. Virtual and hybrid classes take a join link, and the location field renames itself to match — Location, Platform, or Room & platform.
  • The join link reaches your calendar. Subscribe to your sessions and a remote class arrives with the link attached, so joining is one tap from a phone lock screen instead of a hunt through email. A hybrid class keeps its room in the event details.
  • A different trainer for one day. Sessions can name their own lead and second trainer, so covering a single day no longer means changing the whole class. When days differ, the class header says so rather than picking one at random, and changing the class-wide trainer warns you before it replaces those choices.
  • A second trainer can be removed again. Previously a co-trainer could be changed but never taken off — now “nobody” is an answer, for one session or for the whole class.
  • Classes you have already run are untouched. Nothing was recorded about how they were delivered, so nothing is guessed — they stay blank, including archived ones, and their calendar entries are exactly as they were.
v1.11 August 2026

Learners the app can actually recognise

  • An email address and an employee ID, both optional. Add either one when you create a learner or edit their profile. Neither is required, and every learner already on file is untouched — nothing was recorded for them before, so nothing is invented now.
  • A shared address settles it. When a name you are adding carries an identifier the app already has, it says so outright instead of weighing up spellings. Two people who genuinely share a name, but have different addresses, stop being reported as the same person.
  • Paste the columns you already have. The bulk box still takes “Name — Role”, and now also reads pasted columns of name, role, email and employee ID. An address is picked up wherever it sits on the line, and “Chen, Maya” is still one person’s name.
  • Merging keeps whichever record has more. If the duplicate is the one carrying the email address, the profile you keep carries it afterwards. The learners export includes both fields.
v1.10 August 2026

Setting up a class, rebuilt

  • Your roster comes first. Who is in the class now sits near the top of the form instead of below the day-by-day schedule — which, on a two-week onboarding, meant scrolling past every single day to get to it. On a phone it was five screens down. It is the first thing you reach now.
  • The schedule stays out of the way until you need it. A generated run shows as one line — “10 sessions · Aug 3 – Aug 14” — and opens for editing when you ask. Short schedules stay open, and if a day has an end time before its start, the list opens itself so you can see which one.
  • Classes that repeat. Workshops and development classes can now run every week or every other week for however many sessions you need, instead of adding one day at a time and correcting every date by hand. A holiday moves that one session without shifting the rest of the series.
  • Start from a class you have already run. Pick an earlier class — including an archived one — and the setup comes with it: type, client, trainers, times, how often it repeats, and its certifications. Dates and the roster start fresh, because the next run is on new dates for different people.
  • Nothing is lost if you step away. A half-filled form survives a reload or a trip to another screen, and Cancel asks before throwing it out. Holidays you enter are now remembered on the class, so a missing day is explained rather than looking like a gap.
  • Clearer as you go. The form tells you which field needs attention instead of a general warning, sums up what it is about to create before you commit, and lets managers add a new client without leaving the page.
v1.9 July 2026

No more duplicate learners

  • Pasted rosters get checked first. Paste a list of names and the app now catches the ones that are already on file — including the near misses a plain match would sail past, like a transposed name, an added middle initial, or a single-letter typo. It also spots the same person typed twice in your own list.
  • You decide, line by line. When something is flagged, nothing is saved until you say what to do with it: enroll the learner who already exists, add a genuinely different person with a similar name, or skip the line. The rest of your list goes in as typed.
  • Merge the duplicates you already have. Managers can now combine two profiles for the same person into one. Class history, attendance, observations, certification scores, tasks, survey responses, and files all move to the record you keep — nothing is left behind on the record that goes.
  • A standing duplicate check. Manage → Learners now surfaces likely duplicate profiles across your whole roster, so the ones created before any of this existed can be cleaned up too.
v1.8 July 2026

Build your own roles

  • Custom roles, your rules. A new Roles tab in Manage lets managers create roles that fit how your team actually works — toggle exactly what each role can do, from editing classes and exporting reports to managing learners, posting announcements, or administering users. Choose whether a role works across every class or only the classes its holder leads.
  • Rename the built-ins. Manager, Trainer, and Supervisor keep their behavior but can now carry the names your organization uses — call them Directors, Facilitators, or Coaches and the whole app follows.
  • Changes land live. Adjust a role and everyone holding it picks up the new permissions within about half a minute — no sign-out, no reload.
v1.7 July 2026

Supervisor accounts for coaches and team leads

  • A read-only role for ongoing support. Add a teammate as a Supervisor and they get read-only visibility into every class — rosters, sessions, observations, attendance, and comments — without being able to change anything. It's built for the people who coach agents after training and need to stay in the loop.
  • Full report access. Supervisors can export the class report, per-learner reports, and the client roll-up for any class, so they can pull what they need for reviews and check-ins on their own.
v1.6 July 2026

An AI head start for learner-by-learner reviews

  • Per-learner summaries in the class report. Turn on per-learner AI summaries when you generate a class report and each learner gets their own short, editable note — drawn from their attendance, progress ratings, certifications, and your non-private observations. It's built for the review meetings where you go person by person, alongside the class-wide summary you already get. Off by default; flip it on per report.
  • Cleaner report summaries. AI summaries now render their headings and bullet points properly in the printed report instead of showing stray asterisks.
v1.5 July 2026

Push a task to next week in one click

  • Snooze a task. Every task with a due date now has a snooze button beside it — bump it to Tomorrow or Next week without opening the calendar. Picking an exact date works exactly as before.
  • Archived classes step aside. Archived classes now sit under their own Archived heading at the bottom of every class list instead of crowding the classes you're actually teaching. They stay pickable on purpose — a learner or follow-up that slipped through still needs somewhere to go — and if you file something into one, Skovrum flags it and offers to unarchive the class on the spot.
  • Fixes & polish. Steady reliability and quality-of-life improvements across the app.
v1.3 July 2026

Get anywhere in two keystrokes

  • Command palette. Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on Mac) from any screen and start typing — any class, learner, or session is one Enter away, along with quick actions like a new task or private note. Open it empty and your pinned and recently viewed items are already waiting. Quick-capture now lives on Ctrl+Shift+K.
  • Pin what matters. Star a class or learner to keep it at the top of its list on every device you use.
  • Export what you see. The Learners and Classes lists (and both Manage lists) now export a CSV of exactly the rows your filters and search show — or just the ones you've selected.
  • Lists remember your place. Open a learner from a long list and come back — you're right where you left off, not back at the top.
  • Long lists open faster. Big rosters and class lists now load a page at a time rather than all at once, with a Show more button to bring in the rest.
  • Fixes & polish. Steady reliability and quality-of-life improvements across the app.
v1.1 July 2026

Built for bigger rosters

  • Filter & sort every list. A new Filters panel on the Learners, Classes, and Manage screens narrows long lists by affiliate, class, type, trainer, status, or flag — and sorts by name, start date, recent activity, or certification progress. Active filters show as one-tap chips.
  • Bulk actions everywhere. Select mode now works on the Learners and Classes screens too — filter down to exactly the right group, select all, and enroll or archive in one move.
  • Fixes & polish. Steady reliability and quality-of-life improvements across the app.
v1.0 July 2026

Skovrum 1.0: everything in the notebook

  • Session notes. A rich composer with inline #tags and @mentions. Observations file themselves to the right learner and stay searchable long after the room clears.
  • Guided note templates. Reusable structures with fill-in prompts and live class, session, and date tokens; the follow-ups you jot become real tasks the moment you save.
  • Attachments. Paste or drag images and PDFs straight into notes, replies, and learner profiles.
  • Classes & rosters. Every class carries its roster, sessions, topics, and certifications. Topics are shared across classes of the same type, so good structure gets reused.
  • Learner profiles. Health chips flag who needs attention this week; notes, attendance, and certs roll up per learner.
  • Attendance. One tap per learner per session, with class holidays respected in scheduling.
  • Certifications. Attempts, scores, and evidence files per learner, with first-time pass rate surfaced in reporting.
  • Learner surveys. Reusable templates scoped by class type, shared as a plain link or a scannable QR code, anonymous, spam-throttled, and auto-closing.
  • Analytics. Outcomes, attendance, and satisfaction plotted over time, plus AI-drafted weekly class summaries and survey comments grouped into readable themes, on request.
  • Tasks & follow-ups. A shared team workspace with assignees, priorities, and due dates, so nothing agreed in a session slips through.
  • Calendar. The week at a glance across every class, easy rescheduling, and a private feed you can subscribe to from Apple, Google, or Outlook.
  • Daily digest. An optional morning email with what needs your attention, and a one-click way to opt back out.
  • My Notebook. A personal space for the notes that don’t belong to any class.
  • Trainer development. Development profiles, coaching notes, and delivery impact over time, so the whole team gets stronger.
  • Works offline. Keep writing when the room has no signal; changes queue and sync the moment you’re back.
  • Built for teams. Managers and trainers each see the right things, and private observations stay private.
  • Secure by default. Cookie-based sessions, throttled sign-ins, and self-serve password reset keep accounts safe without friction.
  • Fast to drive. Quick capture with a keystroke, jump-to-search, session-to-session navigation without the mouse, and full light and dark themes.
  • Always current. Skovrum tells you the moment a new version is ready and refreshes itself.
  • Fixes & polish. Steady reliability and quality-of-life improvements across notes, classes, and certifications.
